Millersburg has many rich connections to the American Civil War. For us today, one of those places where we can bridge the century-and-a-half historical gap is Oak Hill Cemetery, the final resting place of dozens of veterans from America’s bloodiest conflict. Please join the Millersburg and Upper Paxton Township Historical Society at Oak Hill this Memorial Day after roll call (approximately 10:00 a.m.) to stand graveside and hear the stories of some of these men and their role in the Civil War. The tour will be approximately 45 minutes long with a few short walks. It will be conducted by Civil War historian and Gettysburg Licensed Battlefield Guide Britt Isenberg.
